History
The Mull of Galloway Trail was created by the Rotary Club of Stranraer and opened in 2012. Its northern section, from Stranraer to Glenapp, was developed first as the Loch Ryan Coastal Path, and the southern section to the Mull was added later.
It runs from the Mull of Galloway, Scotland's most southerly point, to Glenapp Kirk, and forms part of the 135-mile Firth o Clyde Rotary Trail to Milngavie. The Rotary Club of Stranraer maintains both parts of the trail on a voluntary basis.
