History
The Berwickshire Coastal Path was developed by Scottish Borders Council and runs for 30 miles (48 km) from Cockburnspath to Berwick-upon-Tweed. When it was first created is not recorded in any source we found.
In 2022 the stretch between Cockburnspath and St Abbs Head was re-routed inland after safety concerns about the cliff path, and in 2024 the council consulted on the path's future because of continuing coastal erosion.
